The first real stick. The AURORA YTH is the same 100% carbon low-kick stick the big ones play – just in kids’ size. Soft flex 20 or 30, so the shaft actually bends on the shot, and 1290 mm length for the little ones.

Right if

  • your kid should move from a wooden or budget stick to real carbon
  • they can’t shoot with much power yet – low kick and soft flex help exactly there
  • you want a light stick they’ll love to pick up

Probably not if

  • your kid is already taller than about 1.35 m – then AURORA JR (1520 mm)
  • you need other specs – then AURORA custom

Overall length1290 mm

P28 – toe curve, open. For players who carry the puck on the toe and release on the move (Pastrnak).

P29 – mid curve, open, round toe. The most played pattern in the world (= Bauer P92). Shooting, passing and stickhandling all equally good – usually the best choice for kids.

Tech & materials

Low kick point. The shaft loads close to the blade – quick wrist and snap shots with little effort. Just right for young players who can’t yet put much weight into the shot.

100% carbon, one-piece. Same factory as our top models, simpler material layup – hence the price.

Choosing flex & length

Rule of thumb: flex ≈ body weight in kg, and for kids rather a bit softer: a shaft that is too stiff never bends on the shot – and that bend is what makes the shot fast. Under about 25 kg flex 20, above that flex 30.

Length: stick upright, toe on the floor – up to the nose without skates. When the kid grows, the stick can easily be cut (+2 flex per inch), but not extended.

Shipping & warranty

Order by 2 pm, usually at your door tomorrow. Switzerland 1–3 business days, EU 3–5 – free shipping (DDP, no customs surprises).

30-day warranty from delivery and 30-day exchange on stock items.

Different specs? Configure the AURORA as a custom stick – flex, length, curve, hand, name. Delivery 4–6 weeks.

FAQ
Flex 20 or 30?
Under about 25 kg body weight flex 20, above that flex 30. If in doubt take the softer one – cutting makes the stick stiffer anyway.
LH or RH?
LH = blade on the left, right hand at the top of the shaft. Most kids in Switzerland play LH. Just hand your kid a broom – the hand that grabs the top decides: right hand on top = LH.
Why is it cheaper than the big brands?
Because we work directly with the factory and don’t pay for NHL marketing. Materials and build are pro level.
What’s the difference to the custom version?
Same stick. In stock means fixed combinations delivered in 1–3 days – custom means everything free (flex, length, 100+ curves, name) in 4–6 weeks.
