Who is it for?
The CLASSIC SPR is the stick for defensemen and shooters with a big wind-up. The high kickpoint flexes in the upper shaft and unloads the energy with full force – ideal for slap shots and one-timers where you put your body weight into the shot. If you are coming from the Bauer Nexus, you will feel at home immediately. For a slightly quicker release with similar power, go for the MASTER FRST with mid kick; if you mostly shoot quickly off the wrist, ARCANE or AURORA (low kick) suit you better.
Choosing flex and length
Which flex suits you?
As a rule of thumb, take about half your body weight in pounds. For the in-stock flex values that means:
Flex 70approx. 64–77 kg
Flex 75approx. 73–86 kg
Flex 85approx. 82–100 kg
Cutting the stick down raises the flex by roughly 2 points per inch. With a high kick in particular, pick a flex you can really bend in the shot – otherwise you leave power on the table. Explained in detail in the hockey stick guide.
How is the length measured?
The stated length is the total length, measured with the blade – stand the stick upright against a wall with the blade tip on the floor. The in-stock sticks have a total length of 1690 mm (approx. 66.5") – senior length, recommended from ~175 cm. On the ice many players cut the stick down further to suit themselves.

Which curves are available?
The P28 is an open toe curve with a pronounced toe hook – for players who handle the puck on the toe and release quickly. The P29 is the most versatile shape in ice hockey and identical to the Bauer P92: open, medium curvature, round toe – strong for shooting, passing and puck handling.

Kickpoint Guide
What is a high kickpoint?
With a high kickpoint the shaft flexes in its upper section, close to the lower hand. It needs a little more wind-up but transfers the most energy into the puck – perfect for slap shots and one-timers. Typical for defensemen and anyone coming from the Bauer Nexus.
