Who is it for?
The ARCANE is our top model: T1100 carbon with aviation-grade fiber and an AEROX taper. The ultra-low kick loads right above the blade – for players who want to get rid of the puck without warning. The shaft is slim and classically shaped, comparable to a Bauer Vapor FlyLite. If you want the same material but an ergonomically shaped D-shaft, you'll find it in the RAPID. If you need more power on the slap shot, the HIT GRIT is the better fit.
Choosing flex and length
Which flex suits you?
As a rule of thumb, take about half your body weight in pounds. For the two in-stock flex values that means:
Flex 75approx. 73–86 kg
Flex 85approx. 80–93 kg
Cutting the stick down raises the flex by roughly 2 points per inch – so a 75 quickly becomes a 77 or 79. If you're between two values, your shot type decides: if you finish a lot on the move, take the softer one; if you go for hard shots from a standstill, take the stiffer one. How is the length measured?
The stated length is the total length, measured with the blade – stand the stick upright against a wall with the blade tip on the floor. The in-stock ARCANE comes in two senior total lengths: 1690 mm (approx. 66.5") and 1640 mm (approx. 64.5"). The length is tied to the variant and is selected above together with the side. On the ice many players cut the stick down further to suit themselves.

Which curves are available?
The P28 is an open toe curve with a pronounced toe hook – for players who handle the puck at the tip of the blade and finish on the move. The P29 is the most versatile shape in ice hockey and identical to the Bauer P92: open, medium curvature, round toe – strong for shooting, passing and puck handling. Newly added is the P90TM: a mid-toe curve with an open face and a round toe, called P90TM at Bauer, CCM and Warrior too, and known in the NHL as the Tavares curve. It sits between the other two – more toe feel than the P29, more predictable than the P28.
