Who is it for?
The HIT GRIT is the all-rounder of the in-stock range. The hybrid kickpoint loads fast enough for the snap shot and still delivers power on the slap shot – if you don't want to commit to one type of shot, this is your best choice. At 375 g it deliberately isn't at the low end: if you're after the absolute lightest setup, ARCANE and AURORA at 365 g with an ultra-low kick are the more direct pick.
Choosing flex and length
Which flex suits you?
As a rule of thumb, take about half your body weight in pounds. For the two in-stock variants that means:
Flex 75approx. 73–86 kg
Flex 85approx. 80–93 kg
Cutting the stick down raises the flex by roughly 2 points per inch – so a 75 quickly becomes a 77 or 79. If you're between two values, your shot type decides: if you finish a lot on the move, take the softer one; if you go for hard shots from a standstill, take the stiffer one. Explained in detail in the hockey stick guide.
How is the length measured?
The stated length is the total length, measured with the blade – stand the stick upright against a wall with the blade tip on the floor. The in-stock sticks have a total length of 1690 mm (approx. 66.5") – senior length, recommended from ~175 cm. On the ice many players cut the stick down further to suit themselves.

Curves – P28 & P29
P28 – Toe Curve
Open blade face with a pronounced toe hook. For players who handle the puck at the tip of the blade and finish on the move. Made famous by David Pastrnak. Everything about the shape in the P28 guide.
P28 · Toe Curve · Open
P29 – Mid Curve
The most versatile shape in ice hockey and identical to the Bauer P92: open, medium curvature, round toe. The most played pattern in the world – it works equally well for shooting, passing and puck handling. Everything about the shape in the P29 guide.

Kickpoint Guide
What is a hybrid kickpoint?
The hybrid kickpoint combines the best of low and high – a fast release for snap shots, but also enough power for hard slap shots. That makes the HIT GRIT the most versatile stick in the SOYUZ lineup.
